Dear Parishioner,

Last Sunday we said Good-bye to Fr Gordon, thanked him sincerely for all the work he has done in our Parish and wished him well, assuring him of our prayers, as he takes up his new position in Caernarfon.

Today, we welcome Fr Abraham. Fr Abraham is an Indian priest, on loan to the diocese to help us out with our shortage of priests. We are doubly grateful to him; grateful that he has left his homeland for our sake; grateful that he has come here to Llandudno to minister to us. We welcome him heartily and pray that he will have a long and very happy ministry here in our Parish.

Finally, may I thank all of you who sent me greetings on my birthday last Wednesday. The card which I received from you all on that day really blew me over! What a magnificent piece of work; what an expression of your care for me! Sarah Dennison, Chair of the Parish Council, and John her husband, kindly brought it down to me. It was the nicest thing that has happened to me since my operations in December! Thank you for it, and especially those involved in making it. It left me with a great hiraeth, a great longing, to be back with you all again.
